Respecting elders and historical traditions! The painting depicts and Elephant, a Monkey, a Hare, and a Bird. Here, the youngest friend, the elephant, is holding up the elder friend. The elephant here is the biggest animal, however no matter how strong the elephant is, it shows respect towards the other three friends who are elder than him. Likewise the Monkey holds up the Hare, and the Hare holds up the Bird who is the eldest among the four.
 
There are many depictions of this painting. But one main depiction that is important is that when a person sees this painting. They see the harmony of the different animals as friends working together in harmony.
